DIY Washi Tape Stationary

Wednesday, November 7, 2012

It's been a gloomy rainy day here in Indiana... so I decided to do something creative to cheer me up! I didn't want to go to the store so I used my go-to crafting material... Washi Tape ! I am getting low on stationary so I grabbed some plain Kraft cardstock, cut it down, folded it in half and wa-la! Next I just had to make them beautiful! So here's the before shot...And ....... (drumroll) ....... here is the after!

I love how these were cheap but customized at the same time. And this may have been the easiest craft I have ever done. It was literally easier than shopping for shoes. So yeah... it was a breeze.

  1. Hi Hannah! These are super cute! I make greeting cards and I was wondering what you did to take these super clear pics! Thanks! Michelle

  2. Hello, Michelle! Well, I am definately not a photographer... I just have a pretty nice camera. I use a Canon Rebel T2i with a Tamron 18-270mm lens. As far as editing I just use the Windows Photo Gallery that came standard on my computer. Oh, and I always use natural light. That really helps. You really just have to play around with your camera and the light until you get it how you want. I wish I had more tips, but that's all I have! I hope that helps! -Hannah-

  3. You only used a white background? And then you played with the lighting in the windows photo gallery?

  4. Yes, that's right. I just use plain white cardstock and then usually just adjust the brightness.
